I recommend Lugols 2% for starting out per instructions in this link:

Then later move into Iodoral tablets for the higher dosages. Dr. Brownstein recommends 50 mg for maintenance and 100+ mg if you have any health problems. Lugols & Iodoral are identical formulations of Iodine + iodide.
