I would try to test more. SIBO is a general term for countless of type of bacteria with more or less similar simptoms. and also many differences - for example there are some bacteria which actually can feed on probiotics and some which can benefit from bile. But generally these 2 can help.

My belief is also bloating and undigested food is definitely G1 Problem. AF is most of the time (not always) an effects of a chronic infection in the body , a stress response of the body usually a chronic one. Many of our infections are coming from GI tract. and leaky gut the same.

Pancreas is very senzitive to infections in the body mainly GI - it reacts immediatly sometimes by stop producing enzymes...undigested food. There could be any pathogens involved - chronic H.pilory creates Low HCL, liver and gallbladder congested......undigested food....giardia can make undigested food cause it speed up the transit time in small bowell...etc. any protozoa and bacteria can create leaky gut...impaired liver...undigested food...

in my opinion the closer you are to the ID of pathogen the better chance to solve it better. the rest like diet and so on is just adjusting the main treatment.
