I can barely tolerate any beans, and I'm on high doses of HCL with pepsin managing my lack of stomach acid production pretty well. But without it, I'd never consider trying to even eat one bean. My digestive system is very picky and I think it's contributing to a likely diagnosis in my future of chron's too. I'd give up beans, and anything remotely gassy, and at least get on multi-enzymes, for digestion and HCL suppliments under a naturolpath first.
