Things that your sister can do to help prevent further deterioration is to wear UV glasses to protect the eyes from sunlight. This will make her more comfortable. She should avoid all allergens, if she smokes, she should stop smoking, and she should eat a healthy diet focusing on raw fruits and vegetables. Sugar, processed foods, junk foods, fast foods, etc. should be eliminated. She should take antioxidants since free radicals are a major contributing factor in Fuchs Dystrophy. One supplement that I would recommend would be IntraMax that has powerful antioxidant properties. It is important to note that Fuchs Dystrophy is linked to oxidative stress. Oleander would also help. It would strengthen her immune system and remove toxins from the body. By the way, oleander is very effective in treating a number of health conditions. I would also suggest doing liver cleanses and even coffee enemas.
Two remedies that are excellent when any eye condition are colloidal silver drops in the eyes and also manuka honey in the eyes. I have linked to Utopia Silver colloidal silver because of its excellent quality and by the way it is the only colloidal silver that I have ever used. You can use coupon code LR001 to get a 15% discount unless it is on sale. By the way, this coupon code is good for all of Utopia Silver's products except for IntraMax.
I would also suggest using Eyebright both internally and directly in the eye. I have linked to this produt at iherb which is what Tony and I use. If this is your first purchase with iherb you can use code XOT949 to get $5.00 off your first order.
All of the supplements that I have described above have exceptional healing qualities and colloidal silver is known to repair injured tissue. They have been known to reverse serious eye conditions.
Another remedy to remove fluid from the cornea use a hair dryer. Point the hair dryer to the eyes at arms length and this will help to dry out the blisters on the cornea.
Hope this helps and the best to your sister.
Luella
