Protests, petitions, voting all fall on the deaf ears of the central planners who have now seized total control of the political process from vote counting, control of the media, and control of the currency along with tracking of your every move by the phone in your pocket. A police state doesn't need to even listen to pleas for justice, if you get too loud they can simply put you away.

Some might balk at the idea of evading taxes in this process however the federal income tax is used almost exclusively to pay the interest on the national debt, a debt derived on the interest due the fed for creating currency from thin air to finance an out of control government. Actual current government expenditure is supplied directly from the fed and issued as new debt piled on top of the old. It's not mathematically sustainable and is designed to eventually break the backs of the people under it.
