If you do have to have it surgically removed, do try to rest for a few days. I got back to my normal schedule 2 days later, and the recovery was very long. I still had stabbing pain until 5 months later. I probably ended up with adhesions/ scar tissue from not taking it easy a little longer. Good luck!!
