A recent e-mail:



Our six month old touched our hot coal stove. She had 2nd degree burns on her palm and tips of her fingers. We cooled it with cold water and ice packs for about an hour, then applied the B&W salve and the burdock leaves. She cried from the time it happened till we got the leaf on. Before we were done bandaging she was asleep. We were very pleased with the healing results. We bandaged for 2 weeks. By then it was completely healed with no scars.
