After much pain, research, and prayer, I decided to start on a protocol that would help soften the stones up before attempting the flush. I'm very weak and I know for certain I would not make it through a flush and I'm very concerned about a stone entering the bile duct. The sonogram showed that my gallbladder is pretty impacted with stones.

I have started lecithin two days ago. 1,200 mg a day spread out in three doses with meal time. I am not completely certain at this point, but it seems that this morning my pain is not as intense as what it has been.

I'm still feeling quite sick and cold all over. I still have no fever, no sign of jaundice.

I was able to take in a little more food at supper last night, after 4 weeks of not being able to each much.

I'm still aching quite terribly in my side but it seems the chest pain has eased off some since starting lecithin.

I tried to eat some apples and pears and it seems my stomach is so messed up that I can't digest them very well and it increases the bilary colic. So my husband went and bought a bunch of baby food pears and applesauce and beets for me. And I'm taking that in without trouble.

If I can, I'd like to try GCG again to see if I can tolerate it.

I'm not sure why, but the castor oil pack really enraged my gallbladder. I woke up the next day in a world of hell and my entire upper right side was swollen for two days. I thought a castor oil pack was supposed to help.

Will report back in case what is going on with me, might help someone else out there.

I'm fighting to save my gallbladder. I am quite fond of it and would like it to stay put if possible.
