yes, forgot to mention I never got palpitations from iodine. Except for a period of time this autumn where I skipped the selenium to often combined with high stresses on my adrenals.

300 mg of Iodine daily without selenium seemed to give me a revisit of palpitations, but in a much weaker form than before. When I realized, just a couple of days of 3-400 mcg of selenium and the palps vanished.
This relationship shoulnt be underestimated IMO.
