I've been worried about parasites/candida for a while, but I was pregnant and then breastfeeding. I'm still nursing, but my daughter is almost 2, so I'm trying some gentle detoxes since she's not solely relying on me for food now.
I've been taking diatamaceous earth (DE) for about a month now. I had lots of little white dots in my stool since not long after I started (assuming eggs? definitely wasn't normal for me). I've seen lots of stringy things and once a large white thing connecting 2 bits of stool (didn't know if I was happy/sad to find that one!). Anyway, now I've got something new happening. I don't know if this is good/bad. Am I still getting rid of stuff? Am I injuring my intestines and this is mucus lining coming out? Getting worried... :( Please share any experiences you have... oh, and here's a photo:
