Hi,
I'm new to this forum. Nice to meet you. I have now been battling with candida for two years (not nearly as long as many of you). It's been pretty grim. In fact I quit my job and moved to a cleaner environment in a different country. I mistakenly thought I was suffering from industrial toxicity and was prepared to try anything (don't get me started on the doctors and their never ending Antibiotics ).
Anyway, to cut a long story short (or shorter at least), I have tried turmeric, oregano, coconut oil, cloves(great), and more things than I can count. I have also gone the Rx route with Diflucan (amazing at first...but then...), Lamisil (the weirdest fog and nausea). I'm much better than I was before but am sick of having this hanging over me--I want it gone for good! Those little day or two windows of health just torment me.
After much research I found that a few people were taking Lamisil and Diflucan concurrently and that the results were better. I tried it for a week (checking liver enzymes etc.) but was so spacy and sick that I am now doing half a Lamisil on day one, 200mg Diflucan on day two and day three is a rest(at least that was the plan). Without even thinking I added some vitamin B and a separate dose of B3 to this regimen and woke up feeling wonderful--like I haven't felt for years. But that's happened before. I decided this time I would go the extra mile. All the buzz about Turpentine had been in my mind for a while. I went out and bought some 100% gum Turpentine and put two drops on a cube of Sugar (as instructed by the website)). This happened at two o'clock today. I had an immediate bowel movement (and I mean immediate) then went on with my day. I was woken up at eleven pm by a desperate need to go to the toilet. It is now 2:30am. (I am in Thailand) and I have been on the pot (on and off) for three hours--a massive evacuation of candida (but 9 hours after ingesting the turpentine???). When I woke up I had heart palpitations, breathing issues (maybe anxiety), dizziness and was about to go to the emergency room when calm prevailed and I thought--so much time has already elapsed, just have a cup of chamomile tea and see what happens. My symptoms resolved. My stomach and intestines are still super queasy though. Nothing in all the anecdotal reports prepared me for this. Do you think it's because I'm doing the RX at the same time? And most importantly, is this a miracle cure (I've never ever had such a huge evacuation of visible candida). or should I steer away from trying it out again next week--who knows, it might be just the thing to defeat this beast (and now I know I'm not fatally poisoned my confidence has returned). Anyone else had experience with turpentine. I would really appreciate your input. Thanks and goodnight (at least I hope I can sleep now).
