Firstly, the liver is part of the endocrine system, so I'm not sure which specific endocrine function you're referencing. There is a relationship between bile production and thyroid function.

I don't pretend to have all of the answers, I just know that I was sick, unable to tolerate heat, weak, sensitive to food allergies , breathing "shallowly", no tolerance for fats, pruritus and groin infections, skin problems, psoriasis, white coated tongue, nail fungus, cuticle infections, on and on. Post liver flushes, I'm a completely different person.
I'm guessing that, if the liver can't process toxins and produce bile, the entire endocrine system will be affected.
I'm healthy now and bile flow was, and is key for me.
