What I did was to paint different spots daily, from my ovulation time to the period started (where the pain would subside anyway)
The nipples absorb most, but done every day they would go sore, as the Iodine in this form (Lugols) is abrasive.

No, no dilution. Use Lugols 5 % as it sticks to the skin. The 2 % is much more messy.
Actually some of the pharmacy versions of Iodine (with alcohol) is even better for skin painting, as it contains more Iodine per drop than lugols. Less mess.
