When I first started to take it, small amounts (5mg) were VERY stimulating and sensory enhancing (color brightening, sex drive stimulating). Dr. Richard Shames told me ("Actually, that's a sign you may need it.") I found that I 'adjusted' to it pretty quickly and was able to tolerate larger doses. Worked up to 10 mg, then 25's after a couple month..after a crash as high as 50mg. It was actually very soothing and helpful... like 'adrenal strength in a pill' - in my case.

I found that it was especially useful during or in the few days after a crash. It would be like 'jump starting' a dead battery in a car and giving it fuel... and get my adrenals back on track within a few days, rather than taking weeks.

Taking it daily for months sped up my hair loss (male pattern baldness) very slightly, but noticeably.
