Iodine does not contribute to the "racing" it is part of the solution along with the two supplements above. Have you tested halide levels with a loading test? I would test bromide if it were me. (the toxic Halide Chemicals Bromide, Fluoride, Chloride do attack the thyroid - iodine required co-supplements are required to detox the thyroid)

you should join that group and post your message there for a qualified 2nd opinion. I'm sure that she would advise you to avoid RAI like the plague. It will destroy your thyroid and put you on thyroid meds for the rest of your life. You will STILL need to take iodine anyway for the rest of your body. Every cell in your body requires iodine ESPECIALLY the thyroid to prevent goiter. Iodine DOES prevent goiter. My own opinion-RAI puts you at risk for cancers. That is why they deliver it in a lead box and in a lead syringe with a lead apron!

I need to cure my goiter to avoid RAI. I have been looking at this wonderful website. A few questions to start with.
It looks like this post talks about hypo with a goiter. I am hyper with a goiter- Will the Iodine and the protocol work for this.

I also continue to get chronic sinus infections without any answers on Antibiotics at least once every two months for two years now.

Does anyone know where I can find a Doctor who would work with the Iodine in Northern Palm Beach FL
