You can have growth of yeast in any part of the body yeast "normally" live. When people acquire CRC, cell-mediated immunity is suppressed , and this allows the yeast to flourish on the genitals, tongue, nails, etc. It doesn't mean the yeast traveled in your blood to all those places, but it was there as a part of the colonizer flora. When the immunity, that is what controls its growth, fail, the yeast growth.!!!

In a few words, the immune suppression caused by the intestinal growth is what allows other chronic yeast focus on the body.
