Not sure about that..certainly that gaping hole with the melted Granite weeks after should still have thrown off some radiation..

Then again, nothing else can cause melted Granite deep underground weeks after a kerosene fire..so who needs radiation.. then there are those radiation 'like' health issues a few years later..
