Cilantro is NOT a chelator of Hg or Pb!
Ignore all else you heard, listen to Andy:

That said, Cilantro does work in getting rid of some really bad crapola like Tellurium, and some others I can't remember right now. It also seems to aid while using ALA by mobilizing Hg in out of the way places. But the key to Cilantro is that it needs to be extracted, so when you made your Garlic mix you used a mortar and pestle and had some solvents in that mix to extract the cilantro.
This is easiest done as tincture but can be done with solvents like black pepper with mortar and pestle.

..here is the spiel on Garlic:

IMO you can ignore all the positive results. These are like the positive results of organic Cauliflower and such all grown in Selenomethionine rich soil. In short these plants all had the benefit of soil bacteria already forming Se into SeMe, this is not NORMAL in todays agri world..
EDIT
Bear [Paw] Garlic is the original garlic of folk medicine and it refuses to grow without Selenomethionine in soil.
