I just bought a near infrared sauna lamp and shone it on my jaw yesterday for about 20 minutes. I bought this on the recommendation of Dr. Lawrence Wilson, who claims it is a powerful healing modality for the whole body, and will eventually heal cavitations.

Well, the results were strong and immediate. I could feel the heat penetrating into the bone and the pain lessened. Then while I was sleeping I kept feeling blood rushing furiously to the jaw, with tingling and itching the way it feels when a wound is healing, and my sinuses started to clear. I've been oil pulling for about 6 weeks and that has been mildly therapeutic, but this was much stronger.

The sauna lamp I bought, with three 250 watt bulbs and a light switch, costs about $350, but Dr. WIlson says that you can actually purchase just an infrared lightbulb that sells for about $11, and place it in a ceramic socket. (I bought the larger unit so I could turn my bathroom into a mini sauna). I got my lightbulbs on Amazon - they're GE bulbs. I would recommend using this healing light to anyone with cavitations, whether or not you've had surgery (could prevention re-infection). Dr. WIlson's article is here:
