They did a very good job of it....the first two young people were so nice, the second being the male medical student, who said he didn't think it would be any trouble at all to do blood test. I was so happy, so happy, I cried and asked if I could hug him.
One hour later, doctor wheels in, and that's the end of that. He was so mean. It was horrifying. I felt like I had been lulled into feeling safe, and just when I felt like it was going to be all over, terror again. My son, my poor son. He is almost thirty and works in an indirect medical area, could not believe it...so very, very scary. We had no idea. None at all...so naive. I think it is the human desire to trust. To want to trust in those that have power of you, that you are vulnerable to, to do the right thing. I feel like I am in another country.
I have never, ever sought a doctor for parasites...I have never, ever THOUGHT I had parasites....When the outbreak occurred the end of Aug/beginning of Sept. I thought it might be some kind of mite. It wasn't until I bought the microscope and saw what it was and compared it to microscope images of Mansonella perstans, that all of my other symptoms began to make sense.
