I tried Iodine several times, and what would happen rather consistently, is I would lose some weight, but then gain it back plus more.

Since nothing helped me lose weight, even alkalizing my already healthy diet, I decided to start a liver cleanse. I'm losing weight now (I can feel it in my waist and pants tightness, as both are going down).

My question is, do you think the idoine causing weight GAIN instead of loss was related to my liver being clogged somehow? Do you think finishing the liver cleanse would help the Iodine better do its job?

I've done the Iodine "painting" test, where you put some on your skin and see how long it takes for it to vanish, and it showed I'm definitely iodine deficient. But I don't want to gain weight from using it. So, do you guys think the liver cleanse would help prevent that from happening in the end?
