Yeah, I used Hyaluronic acid I ordered online for about two months, with emu oil to help it penetrate the epidermis. In the last two weeks of using it, I experimented with applying more of it and more frequently, and the rate of peeling sped up slightly during this time.

I'm still in the phase of not using it to see if my lips go back to how they were before, or get worse. For two weeks now off it, I can say that my peeling rate has slowed even further (9 days), and there is healthy looking skin.

So I would recommend only using two drops/per day of the acid and two drops of emu oil (or another carrier oil). Using it by itself it seems to just dry on the lips quickly and make them feel tight. To do proper experimentation, you could put it only on the upper or lower lip and see if there is a discernible difference.

I just picked up some cold-pressed avocado oil and will talk to my naturopath tomorrow about mixing it with Vitamin B12, which is variation of a Psoriasis treatment without exfoliating agents. I want to experiment with this as well while I wait to receive my chelating agent (DMSA) to remove the lead and mercury in my system.

As for the hyaluronic acid, check the past threads cause someone posted about some "superior" stuff, maybe there was something to it. I remember also reading back then about something called Matrixyl 3000, which also stimulates collagen production and is sometimes sold as a mixture with hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C. I think it was drylips or jsl123.

Peace,
C.S.
