One of his comments were that too much Iodine is just as bad as too little, citing that studies show a J curve - with optimal intake being 250-400mcg, which is contrary to everything I have read and done myself. Im taking between 50 and 150mg a day atm.

Also stated that Iodine can take with it toxic subtances into the thyroid.
