As a side note T2, fasting can play a vital role in hypothyroidism if their are absorption issues that led to that deficiency/disease in the first instance.

However, very difficult sometimes to determine if there is a specific deficiency of any kind, and esp' so with current guidelines as to RDI's or recommended dietary intakes, which are for the most part, woefully inadequate.
