I monitor my levels almost every day but not always. Used to some years ago, when my adrenals were'nt as bad, I'd check blood levels before exercising. If it was on the low side, I've eat a good size snack before working out, as the workout would deplete glucose more.

My levels the past few years have been in norms: 75 fasting, around 95-108 between meals, and peak times are 2 hours after meals, averages 109-120. These are normal levels.

Interestinly, I can feel real crappy ( low blood Sugar symptoms or even LBS attack when it is 91 ( and I've checked it at those times. So, readings don't hold a lot of weight. I beleve the cortisol and adrenaline cause a lot of the rise and fall of reading too, even when you've eaten well and right.

My first big attack was back in 1989. I had the flu, and was voiding food orally and from the other end. Could not keep any food down. At that time, I could not even keep orange juice down and did not know I could have put some Sugar or honey just under my tongue. Instead my husband too me to the emergency, I was so sick. They checked my glucose and it was 46.
