Except that if any of us have Hashimotos or thyroid issues due to autoimmunity (and this is a big issue with the Mirena reactions), Iodine can aggravate our condition. Iodine is important, but I would only supplement with food sources (like kelp). Coconut oil is a good source too, I believe. I know of people who have messed up their health with Iodine supplementation. Just something to be aware of when researching options.
