Yes.
I love the french; they have stubbornly resisted Genetically-Modified-Organisms all these years, so have Italy and a few other EU countries. UK have unfortunately not resisted Montsano`s proposal.

I always check the origin of the food I purchase. In Norway we dont grow the GMO, but as we are dependent of other nations food production, it is everywhere (wheat, corn, soy etc)

The french paradox is often mentioned in my Country, as they are slimmer with much less heart diseases than in Norway.
"Despite" their intake of wine and saturated fats (often unpasturized) are much higher than here.
