Just wanted to mention that I had an abscessed tooth and got it pulled 9-17-12.

I started taking 16 drops of Lugol's 5% 2x per day 9-9-12 and upped it to 3x per day 9-17-12.

All the swelling is gone and is healling nicely without pain pills or antibiotics.

It was a tooth that was crowned which shouldn't have been because there was very little tooth left.

I think the tooth cracked because I had nothing but problems with it ever since the crown.

When the dentist went to pull the tooth, the crown popped off.

I cannot say that taking high doses of iodine would have cured it because the tooth was compromised, but with a normal tooth, it just might work.
