John Cannell M.D. says that now 1 in every 55 children are now getting autism or ASD. He says that it is more stressful having an autistic child than having a child with a fatal disease.

According to him, the U.S. National Library of Medicine and Psychology Today, this is due to not enough vitamin D in the pregnant mother and the child. Enough vitamin D is needed by the body to get rid of toxic heavy metals like mercury. See Are Autism and Cancer Caused by Vitamin D Deficiency
