"Lugol's solution, all by itself, is a marvellous germ killer. It's the best thing to take if you have food poisoning (usually caused by Shigella). Six drops of Lugol's in a 1/2 glass of water will stop food poisoning symptoms very quickly. A newer idea that I just learned from a medical intutive friend who has given me many fabulous insights over the years, is to activate Lugol's solution in a manner similar to making Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ."

I dont think the "activating" is needed, but I am frequently governed by my intuitive mind, and like the idea of experimenting. We dont know everything about iodine`s actions in the body yet; not even at this forum.
