I agree not to change a winning team, I never do myself.

With kids I have painted some Lugols on their skin in addition to the Iodide internally. It has worked very well.
Like painting their neck if it is sore. One could paint the skin over the lung area as well, like once a week with some oil on top to avoid irritation of the skin. Then you get both Iodine / iodide.
