I know exactly how you feel. It's been a very tough life since getting this. And I don't know how I will be able to live with this in the long run.

The virus infection theory is really a very realistic one in my mind. I have not read of many people getting tested for it on here. It doesn't necessarily have to be HPV, there may be other viruses that cause this that we don't know of. The virus infection will cause an inflammation, which results in rapid cell reproduction, swelling and in some cases the production of some fluid... Sounds pretty plausable to me.

Of course in some cases it could still be something like atopic eczema, Psoriasis or similar (or something like an airborne contact dermatitis?) which we might not be able to successully treat, in which case we would have to try to hide the symptoms as good as possible and try to get on with our lives as good as possible.
