Pancreatic weakness seems consistent with the theory that too much fat is coating all the insulin molecules preventing them to attach with all the Sugar molecules and when the body senses too much Sugar floating around the blood, it signals the pancreas to secrete even more insulin, thus making the pancreas work harder.
