Yes, to answer your question.
Didn't consider chronic sinus issues to be connected with my digestive maladies until recently. Months of cycles of Antibiotics to treat a sinus infection was directly prior to my GI swelling in 2003 which began my LONG (fruitless) journey. Had suffered for decades with PND sore throats and in the mid 90's months of chronic "strep throat" stones led to a tonsillectomy. Still get loads of PND from sinsus which I attribute to candida/fungal infection. It does taste weird but, can't say what it tastes like: foul tasting is about all I can offer. So, you are NOT alone and I have encountered several others which also have chronic sinusitis issues along with candida.
Have been using Colliodal Silver nasal spray recently to try to kick the candida factory upstairs from constantly dumping fresh candida into my upper GI with some limited progress to date: after a few days flushed out some yellow strings rather than rounded white stuff recently but, that's about where it stopped. Am a little worried about using too much silver and adding to heavy metal toxicity so, skip days here and there now.
Interesting you actually had your phlegm/sinuses cultured: have been thinking this would be a good diagnostic for my case, since my colon doesn't seem to be consistent with much of what I've read here or anywhere to date. Was about to run the metametrix Gi effects complete profile but, think it may not be accurate to showing candida levels considering the sinus "factory" and considering my issues have mainly been small intestinal, not colon per say. Am leaning towards the mycotoxins blood test which seems to be more accurate of a starting place for me.
I deal with a lot of mental confusion, lack of clarity in thought due to low body temps among others so it's hard to think through my own situation, let alone form a plan of attack. Rarely rating above 98 degrees and mostly tracked around 97.1 - 97.6 range along with slowing metabolism suggests adrenal/thyroid issues (this past year has been the most intense stress one could imagine): trying to increase iodine/selenium/Vit C as well as ashwaganda to help support adrenal/thyroid but, had to tell if it's having much effect. The lymph glands on my throat tended to have gotten sore: either a good sign the immune system is starting to respond from the supplements or, a bad sign things are getting worse?
Anemia also plays an important role in my case and started furrin/iron supplementation to try to increase iron levels. Too much and it constipates me so it's slow going while using a timed released product.
This should give all those who consider themselves experts at candida a little pause. There is NO single answer to candida, as frustrating as that is to consider. I do embrace candida as a symptom of something else rather than a stand alone disease. The sooner once embraces that, whether it be fatty liver, adrenal/thyroid metabolism issues, etc, the sooner one can get candida under control. Don't ask me how, since I've only gotten myself much more ill through failed anti-candida treatments, haven't the re$source$ to do much testing and only have recently broadened my humble research to try to understand what needs to be healed and in what order to get out of this horrible nightmare of a pit.
Wishing you nothing but blessed healing. Please keep us posted on what you are doing to help with your sinus issues, what the CC does to help you further and your general progress as it may help someone like me/others along their journey.
