Is there a danger or counterindication for retaining a coffee enema for much longer than the suggested 15 minutes? At times they can cause such relaxation that it is easy to do.

In addition, I have experienced situations where shortly after taking an enema, I had to get up (doorbell, etc). I ended up just retaining and felt great, even mildly euphoric from the additional absorption.

I should clarify that I am doing mini CEs of 8 to 16 ounces.

It stands to reason that the dialysis effect continues beyond 15 minutes. The question then is, is it necessary to purge the solution to get a cleansing benefit?
