Most weight loss programs have a few things in common.
1. Low caloric density of the foods
2. Foods low in carbs or low glycemic index make bulk of food.
3. Avoidance of processed foods.

I will also add that people in France don't suffer from obesity because they take their time eating very small portions. Their plate is gonna be 1/2 as small as an Americans plate. That way they can get away with desert with no ill effects.

With a vegetarian diet like Dr. Fuhrmans it's hard to go over your caloric need by eating those vegetables. It winds up being a type of low carb diet.

I like Paleo and low carb. You can feel much more satiated for longer on these type of meals. Meat and fat continue provide energy to the body long after eaten.

There is intermittent fasting that I'm sorta doing. It can jump start your system. Fasting not really to lose weight but so you can recondition your body to believe you can subsist on smaller portions. So much about eating is about routine that we conditioned ourselves to think. Also there is the point on "forcing" the body to use fat instead of carbs as a fuel source.

I would ditch the juices. The body prefers solids. You could be taking in too much carbs and spiking your blood Sugar that way. Also to move bile and thus fats and wastes out of your system you'll need some kind of fiber. I do take an occasional green drink but it is blended not juiced and I add some fat and protein to round it out. A kind of green smoothie I guess. Best if taken after a workout when a blood Sugar spike would have the maximum usefulness in restoring glycogen stores.

Many people have reported it is beneficial to not eat anything after at the latest 7:00 pm since the body does not burn much calories when asleep. I think one bodybuilder does not eat anything after 5:00pm.
