It worked in my experience to relate candida to fat. Here are testimonials and experts that say that candida is a problem of fat and not too much carbs. I see in your well written description that you do feel guilty about carbs...It really seems toxic and erroneous to think that a low fat vegetarian based diet is unhealthy and promoting fungus for being high carb. I wasted a lot of time thinking this way.
The last video is about Nonalchoholic Fatty liver disease. I think it is responsible for candida because it obstructs digestion allowing yeasts to take over and digest the foods that we are not. (the liver produces bile) It makes us crave bad foods because of poor absorption. I agree that junk food causes candida. From my experience with sickness and recovery....high fat foods, oils, nuts manifest themselves as fatty liver..and it takes many weeks of a low sugar/fat free plan and excercize to get in shape and kick it out.
I say this because most of the worst candida cases I get private messages from are from people that take in oils because of some "cleanse" but in actuality they just further deteriorate. because fat leads to a sick system that candida thrives in.
