Hi problemS,
I have the same problem and I am more than positive it' because of SIBO. they tested me and find I have yersinia / a food borne bacteria which feeds very well on salt and Fe. Himalayan salt have both of them - Fe oxyde give the colour. Besides that when i drink this salt I have also pain in both lower part of the abdomen - know now it's leaky gut from bacterial overgrowth.
I'm not saying you have yersinia _ i'm saying you could be right about having a bacteria or something that cause that.
Campilobacter...
