Couple of NO EXPERT observations.
You are kind of like me....doing some things well and others not so well. It's only adding to our suffering but, everyone treats their condition as they are able/understand. I've made so many mistakes along my journey I'm not condemning here...
Things like Popcorn/granola/apples/potatoes/energy bars are feeding candida. They all either contain sugar/carbs or turn to sugars in the digestive process (apples unless mono loaded will ferment in the GI).
The meats...well, ammonia gas is created during the digestive process. Candida creates ammonia gas to make it's environment more hospitable. This is a double whammy of toxins for your liver to process. In general, limiting meats to twice a week is touted as a better approach and eggs for daily protein. I know I was SO MUCH hungrier when eating meats mainly due to my GI being inflamed from the gasses which I'm still working on correcting.
I'm like you too....shy away from the green veggies but, they are critical to our treatment. Salads......with apple cider vinegar/extra virgin olive oil as dressing (acv has antifungal properties) with some hard boiled eggs for a "snack"....Celery for a snack...Avocado's for a snack....where's the yogurt/kefier or probiotics?
I'm not saying stay completely away from carbs as they body needs them otherwise it will go into ketosis. Just about everything contains sugars - even a head of lettuce contains 3g's of sugar. It's about limiting sugar.
Coconut bread is a good filler and there are candida recipes on the web.
I'm sure others will chime in but, to treat your condition requires both feet set firmly on the same side of the fence.
There's a whole slew of vitamin supplements you may want to investigate using as well.
I wish you nothing but, blessings on your healing....Message me if you want more in depth information.....
