Vitamin E and Selenium by sregan ..... Mercury Toxicity Forum

I know selenium (and possible vitamin E) are supposed to be protective against mercury toxicity.
Recent abstracts I'm reading seem to indicate that Vitamin E and especially with Selenium will increase tissue contentrations on mercury. I don't see how that can be a good thing.
Am I interpreting these wrong?
