It is the chloride that flushes the bromide, so there is the option of potassium chloride.

My mom is more sensitive to sodium chloride, too, so I just use potassium chloride.

She uses inhalers which push out most of her potassium and spare the sodium.

Note, that u will want to make sure that your blood pressure does not get too low.
