Hello, Sherpa!
Huge thank you's for your response.
I have tried to read Dr. Lam's website. I always end up soooo confused. So yes, having some starting points is a real help.
I really cannot afford to pay out of pocket at $300+/hour for help let alone to pay an MD to muck about trying to fix things.
I have eliminated many sources of stress and have a good schedule. I have started to add snacks to my day which seems to help. My cortisol runs low, my DHEA is thankfully fine.
>If you want to see an example of a spreadsheet I kept, >send me a mail and I'll send you a link, TurtleBrain.
YES that would be a huge help.
>3 to 7 grams of mixed ascorbates and liposomal vitamin C >in various pills and liquid forms
Is the liposomal vitamin C a worthwhile investment IYO?
Have been taking 3-4 grams of C a day (with bioflavonoids
>900 to 1200 mg of Panthethine and/ or panthetonic acid - >in various forms
Just tried pantethine and it seems to be a good help.
Is it important to use pantEthne and pantOthine together?
>450 mg Liposomal glutathione
Hm. Have been using a good whey powder.
>400 - 800 i.u. Vitamin E
Tell me what kind of vitamin E? I am soo confused. I was told use Dry E/d-alpa-tocopherol then I read in Dr. Wilson's book not to use anything but d-alpha-mixed tocopherols. Sigh. I wish sources could agree.
>B6 or B-complex Vitamin
Doing this already.
>5 to 50mg pregnenlolone (added after 2 months for extra adrenal support, increase to max range after crash)
This really helps. I am hesitant to try it but nearly all the female hormones on my panel are low/really low.
>5 to 15mg DHEA (during or after crashes for extra support)
What are crashes?
>Other supplements where: Seriphos (to loer high cortisol, as needed), Melatonin 3mg time release (for sleep), Ashwaganha (added at the 9 month point after adrenal reserve had been rebuilt... for increased stress resistance).
Have not needed melatonin or anything else. I fall asleep but wake up nearly every night. Have started taking Wilson's Rebuilder at these times and it seems to help me go back to sleep again. But a week is not long enough to know. Have been taking Aswagandah no idea if it helps.
>Very complex question you ask, hope this helps a little!
YES YES a thousand YESSES, it gives me a starting point.
and. another question if you care to share:
Diet? I have cut much but not all of grains and breads and frankly, I don't much care for how I feel after I eat complex carbohydrates but crave them if I don't. Seems unfair, does it not?
