It's going to take time. It took me around two years to feel like myself again. The first couple of months were the hardest. Immediately after removal Depression hit me like a ton of bricks- what I imagine severe postpartum might feel like? For a long time after the symptoms only seemed to affect me in the time leading up to my period- anxiety, headaches, etc. I know two years sounds like a long time but just know there is a light at the end of the tunnel and for goodness sakes everyone please stay clear of artificial hormones!
