Did osal say goodbye in the post that got deleted? What did he say? This is very sad. Can he be persuaded to change his mind?

He posted a link to it because he had come across it, and was just trying to help.

I am dismayed by the vitriol exhibited in that thread, and hope that osal comes back. His contributions are cherished by many.
