Refreshed you are way off base with your whole post. I don't have time to go into all the reasons why. I will make a brief post here on the most important things I want to say and then leave the rest to be because I have to get back to work.
Neither my wife nor I have ever in any way been bitter or rejected my family over any kind of charismatic movement, or anything else. We both love my family, our relationship is fine, and you are butting your head into an area that you know absolutely nothing about. Sure my family has some issues. No family is perfect.

#60704 yes you are correct. Neither my wife nor I like the charismatic movement because it is way off biblically. I grew up Pentecostal, was urged by my minister, and others to attend one of the largest Pentecostal colleges out there, and in the process of applying, praying, etc. God revealed to me the horrendous errors in it all, and I had to back away and take a different avenue for my life. I also began research on the history of churches in general. We have no records of the speaking in tongues, knocking people down, etc. recorded from the apostolic fathers on. This did not come into play until the azuzu street movement. And anyone can research all that themselves. You'll find all modern Pentacostal churches are rooted in that movement. I want nothing to do with it.
But aside from Pentacostalism, or doctrinal disagreements, the bible is pretty dang clear on false prophets. I don't care what church they are from. The bible says many will say to Jesus, did I not cast out demons, and prophesy in your name, and he will say I never knew you, and cast them out. It tells us how to spot the false prophets and what all to look for. Hinn, Perry Stone, David Wilkerson, the list goes on have repeatedly prophesied about events that would come to pass and they did not happen! These men are false prophets, not according to me, not according to my wife, but according to the bible, period! If the minister of the church I go to tomorrow prophesied something to happen that did not come true, I would high tale it out of there and never look back, and say the same thing about him that my wife has been saying about Hinn, and that is the only right thing to do. Warn each other and run!

Refreshed, your saying about my wife and I believing in lies, and not wanting to change, I do not know what you are talking about.     We have some doctrinal differences from you, that is apparent, and all I know.   We beleive what we believe based on what we have studied from the bible.
