my interlinear greek and hebrew texts are the new king james.

i dont know why, but the language of the king james never bothered me too much. its actually early modern, not middle english.

and in keeping with this corrective tone of mine, i cant agree completely with your advice. there are a lot of alligators in that swamp. you dont want to bring one of those home. at least stay away from the paraphrases. they arent even translations. and there is something really wrong with the NIV. i had one for quite a while and i got rid of it. maybe if i knew more foreign languages it would make more sense to me. comparing NIV to the berkeley, they seem to have very different mindsets.

i have the 4 volume set that uses the new king james. its a dandy for sure.

and when buying strongs, get the biggest print you can. i had the big one once and it got left behind somewhere. when i grabbed a small paperback of it its almost unreadable its so small.
