Day 3...

Woke up this morning and was very hungry (due to barely being able to move the day before) that I went and bought two cornish pasties, a bag of crisps, and a pint of milk!

I broke the diet for the first time in a long time. Started to feel the effects straight away. So I took a load of caprylic acid, had a bath with a dash of hydrogen peroxide in, and had another Lactulose Enema.

End result:

Feeling MUCH MUCH better than I have felt in months. Although the food I ate this morning took about twelve hours to subside (the brain fog, fatigue, underwater feeling) the effect of the lactulose enema has been very good.

I was in a good mood this evening, making myself a decent chick pea curry with ginger and turmeric (for the leaky gut).

I'm going to have another Enema tomorrow. Fingers crossed it is the holy grail of my candida troubles.

My thinking is one has to tackle candida, literally, from BOTH ENDS!

The lactulose acidfies the colon, makes my bowels move, reduces the ammonia, helps the liver cleanse (hence my improved mood). It is definately having an effect, even with me cheating on the diet that would normally put me back for days, not hours.

I've noticed new herxheimer effects as well. I've got smelly armpits, and I'm getting a white tongue for the first time. Again I see this as a good thing.

Maybe the candida is running away from my acidic colon?! I bloody hope so.

Another update will come tomorrow.

Good night! :)
