If you have the hypoglycemic-like symptoms, you seem to have toxic hunger. I got a glucose monitor that confirmed my blood Sugar was fine and that I didn't have hypoG.
All I did was go on a week-long low-sugar vegetable juice fast (low on sugary carrots and beets, a little lemon juice added, lots of cabbage, kale, mustard greens and the like) and my hypoglycemic-like symptoms went away after the first day of juicing. When starting to eat solid food again, it's basically 70% vegetables, 10% fish, rest fruit and rice.
I feel my liver and kidneys still need to heal from all the years of heavy meat eating -- thinking and being told I had hypoglycemia and lots of protein is what I needed to eat -- but other than that, I have no more of those hypoglycemic-like symptoms and I'm slowly reintroducing other foods with no problems.
Confirm with your practitioner, but I wouldn't worry too much that your losing weight. You need to "reboot" yourself by getting rid of all the toxins that have accumulated in your body, then rebuild yourself back up. That's what I'm doing and I'm feeling stronger everyday!
