i'm really interested in probiotics, but none of the pills i've taken have done anything that i couldn't do with food choices.

mostly they just affect my small intestine and none of them seem to to anything for my colon which is what i'm mainly concerned with now. plus i read that taking probiotics orally will not reach the colon alive. finally did a kefir enema the other day with unremarkable results.

it could just be a matter of taking the exact right strain since most of what i've taken has been just normal strains. just read about b. infantis and i had it in the back of my mind to try b. coagulans but havent taken either yet.
