a long time ago when i first came to this forum someone suggested putting Lugols on the heart point, the soft spot just below where your ribs come together in front

when i tried it, a watery blister formed and it took a couple of weeks for it to heal

this morning i was feeling brave and curious
so i put some on my heart point again
it did not burn
and it did not make a blister

flash back again

also, when i first starting using Iodine, i tried putting a couple of drops in
my belly button

i could feel it working its way into my stomach

this scared me and i mopped it out instead of letting it all work into me
it burned my belly button too, took a while for it to scab over and peel

flash forward

today, when the heart point didn't burn, i also tried putting a couple of drops in my belly button again, because i have been feeling strange sensations in my stomach lately that i am interpreting as some kind of mild infection or something going on in there

it did not burn my belly button this time either
nor did i feel the sensation of Lugols working its way into my body

the discoloration disappeared very quickly on both points
my body seems to be using it
